A valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for travellers on this itinerary because the group will travel from Kenya into Tanzania. Travellers must obtain the appropriate yellow fever vaccination and carry their original International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis, commonly known as the Yellow Card, during the journey.

Malaria is present in areas of both Kenya and Tanzania. Travellers should consult their family physician or a qualified travel health clinic regarding appropriate malaria prevention, medication and mosquito-bite precautions.

Depending on individual health history, vaccination status and itinerary, a healthcare professional may recommend vaccinations or boosters including hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, polio, rabies and routine vaccinations.

We recommend booking as early as possible. July is one of the most sought-after periods for Great Migration travel and safari lodges and camps can reach capacity well in advance. For this July 2027 group departure, bookings are expected to close by October 2026 or earlier if available spaces sell out.
